The Belgian company Sioen is a world player in technical textiles. In 2021 it will have a turnover of more than EUR 600 million. The Sioen Apparel Division develops protective clothing for industry. Sioen is also a niche specialist in various fields: fire fighting suits (Sioen Firefighter Clothing), bulletproof vests (Sioen Ballistics), protective clothing for use with chainsaws (SIP Protection) and protective clothing for on and around the water (Mullion & Ursuit). The group has more than 4500 employees, 900 of whom work in Belgium.
